Quality Instruction
Good instruction is not hard to come by at Red's, our philosophy is that a
good guide and caster is only as good as his ability to teach! We pride
ourselves on being able to quickly and positively express instruction and
critique of the fly cast. Of course this is what we do everyday on the
river as guides, only we have to do it while bouncing down river in a drift
boat! On the casting pond at the fly shop it is even easier to learn
and teach these skills. We have learned to keep it simple for the
student.
Maybe you need help with some of the more advanced techniques? No problem. Our
staff can help you with shooting line techniques, the double-haul, spey
casting with a single handed rod, casting in various winds, orwe can give
you advice on handling heavy nymph rigs or sink tips.
Need gear? No problem. As part of our Hourly Riverside Casting Lesson we will
provide you with any all equipment that you need. This will give
you a chance to try a variety of rods and choose the set up that
is right for you.
