Named after the Quinalt River on the Olympic Peninsula, these rods are built
to handle anything a big steelhead should dish out, all the while it is a
smooth caster that can actually make casting string leeches fun. We
like the Quinalt series at Red's because it gives high quality at a reasonable
price.
Red's Fly Shop Favorites:
9'6" 7 wt. (1147-4) Good reach, but still has plenty of drive for sink
tips. Good for the Klickitat, Methow, or other small summer steelhead
rivers.
9'6" 8 wt. (1148-4) This rod will take on the big winter fish of the
Olympic Penn but still provide the touch needed for small water. If you
plan on doing some winter steelheading, this is the rod for you.

Xpeditor Warranty
Service |
With the G.Loomis
Xpeditor Service you can get a brand new rod to replace a broken one,
delivered to your doorstep in as little as two days. Even if you’re on
a trip away from home.
If you break a rod, call 1-800-GLOOMIS and request the Xpeditor
Service. Pending stock availability, they will ship you a replacement
rod. When you receive your new rod, simply remove it from the shipping
tube, place the broken rod into that same tube and affix the enclosed,
pre-paid shipping label on the outside of the tube and you are done.
The cost: $50 for
standard ground delivery in the Continental U.S. or $65 for 2-day
service in the Continental U.S. or Alaska. It is the best warranty in
the business, hands down. |
