Creek Day Trips
This is like a trip back in time! A place still exists that you can
throw bushy little dry flies to wild trout and have them tackle it with
aggression. The practically wrestle for it! Bring a 0-3 weight
rod and a spirit for adventure on this one. It is a great trip and one
that you will remember for all of your days.
You will meet the outfitter and/or guide in the morning at a predetermined
U.S. Forest Service Trailhead and ride into the creek gorge. The ride
is part of the adventure and you often see deer, elk, or even a bear while
riding to one of these creeks.
After about 4 hours of fishing it will be time to saddle up and head back
down to the trailhead for some more horseback riding and scenery!

The Fishing
The creeks
offer an abundance of small trout in the 6-8" range but it is not uncommon
for us to land a handful of 12-14" trout during a good day of fishing.
You will be amazed how big an 8" fish can be when you are on a tiny creek,
10 miles from the nearest road, and are fishing with a 0 weight and a dry
fly!
A Washington Freshwater Fishing License with Catch Record Card is required for this trip.
Testimonials
"This is one of our best offerings at Red's and we are so proud to
be offering a getaway that combines a TRUE wilderness experience
with fly fishing. I am fortunate enough to have fished a lot
of places but this is one adventure that I look forward to every
summer. It's not about the size of the fish, it's about where
they live!"
