Klickitat River Guided Fly Fishing Trip

RIVERSIDE WALL TENT CAMP
2011 Fall Camp Dates Available
October 9th – 13th
October 27th – November 2nd
November 5th - 7th

We run 2 sessions of our Riverside Wall Tent Camp ON the Klickitat River for Steelhead.
The "Summer Camp" offers great weather and wet wading, and the fall camp
slightly more consistent fishing and water conditions.
Everything is included on this trip; food, lodging, guiding, and even the
campfire during the Fall Camp!
Our camp is on the river, so this means after dinner you can step out of camp
and into the river and fish one of the great runs that is out in front of camp
or you can just relax around the campfire.
Our lodging consists of 16'x12' Wall tents with wood burning stoves, cots,
tables, chairs, lanterns, and even a carpet floor!
There is a staff member dedicated full time to cooking great meals with fresh
baked Dutch Oven breads with every dinner. The staff will also
make sure that fires are built and tents are warm upon arrival from the river.
The typical itinerary is 2 days of fishing and 2 nights in camp. Arrive
in camp sometime in the evening on the day before you fish and grab dinner on
your way down. Most anglers will stop by the shop to pick
up any gear that they might need to purchase. Settle into camp that
night, enjoy the sound of the river combined with the warm campfire. Day
1 will have you up early for hot coffee, a hearty breakfast and a day of
steelhead fishing. You will return to camp around dinner time where you
will find your tents warm, dry, and an appetizer or cocktail awaiting courtesy
of our cooking staff. You can wade fish while dinner is prepared or
relax and enjoy the serenity of the Klickitat. Dinner is a masterpiece
of outdoor cooking and the signature of our camp is the fresh baked bread that
comes right out of the pan onto your plate, so hot that you'll have to let it
cool down. After dinner you can enjoy a glass of wine, scotch, or
lemonade around the fire. Go to sleep listening to the sounds of the
river. Day 2 gets you up for fresh coffee, breakfast, and fishing.
Lunch is served on the river and back to camp in the late afternoon to pack up
and head home.
A Washington Freshwater Fishing License with Catch Record Card is required for this trip
along with a Columbia River Steelhead Endorsement.
