During the summer months, Icicle Creek
offers a picturesque walk ‘n wade fly fishing adventure for all ages and
experience levels. It’s only minutes from town and a refreshing escape from
the crowds to enjoy a few hours of solitude and fly fishing. Not only is the
Icicle one of the prettiest mountain streams you will ever see, it’s a great
place for beginners to learn to fly fishing while catching a few wild trout
at the same time!
The Wenatchee River
is the main attraction, especially in the fall and winter seasons when
the river is open for steelhead. While this trip is preferred by experienced
anglers, anyone is welcome. If you are new to fly fishing, join us!
Your guide will gladly get you started with the basics of fly fishing and
show you how to fish for these giant ocean-going rainbow “on the go.”
The Yakima River,
considered Washington State’s best fly fishing, is conveniently located an
hour’s drive south of Leavenworth. Upon request, we may be able to have you
guide pick you up right at your Leavenworth hotel and provide transportation
to and from the river. |
