Naches River Guided Fly Fishing and Float Trips

The
Naches River
is a wild
freestone stream that sees little angling pressure and boasts productive fly
fishing for moderate sized wild trout. Less anglers and a chance to catch
native Westslope Cutthroat on dry flies makes for a memorable adventure!
Naches trout are fat, healthy,
and very very strong.
The catch is composed of
native cutthroat and wild rainbows, most of which are in the 10-16" range.
The angler to fish ratio is wonderful
and we feel like the overall experience is second to none!
Float Fishing or Wade Fishing
We offer both float and wade fishing trips on the Naches depending on
the water level.
The Naches runs very fast in the early summer, so the float
trip itself is very exciting and worth doing as an eco adventure itself.
At times, it can be a true combination of white water rafting and fly
fishing! Sometimes it is so fast that we might have to remind you to
look up at the cliffs, elk, and deer instead of at your fly or the giant
boulders that we are squeezing the raft between!
Wade fishing is more
productive later in the summer when river flows are too low to support
efficient floating. This is a great time to wade because there is very
little fishing pressure and the adventure is fantastic.
A
Washington Freshwater Fishing License is required for this trip.

Testimonials
"That was a great trip guys, much better than I could have
ever imagined from such a small river. I still love the
Yakima, but the Naches is now my favorite! I felt like I was
on the Blackfoot River in Montana. Never have I seen such
beautiful fish and being able to do some wade fishing during the
summer heat is a great way to cool off when I might have normally
been sweltering in the drift boat. Thanks for working so hard
and I look forward to our next trip and testing my new 4 weight on
those chubby Cutthroat!"

Where is the Naches River?
The Naches River joins
the Yakima River about 20 miles downstream of our fly shop and lodge.
The areas we guide and fish are less than an hour away. The river
itself
tumbles down the east side of
Chinook Pass and is created at the confluence of the Bumping, American and
Little Naches Rivers.
Tributary
Fishing
By request, we also offer some
remote mountain stream fishing in the Naches River watershed. There is a
variety of small streams and our guide staff is happy to take you on an
"adventure to remember"!
