- 1 Day RFS School - Fishing for the
Columbia River Bonefish... aka Carp! (8 am meeting time at Red's Fly
Shop)
Carp Course
Many times we have heard people say…
"I'd like to try that sometime."
The RFS One Day Carp Clinic is designed to educate the angler on fishing for
"Golden Bones"... aka Carp in Eastern Washington. It is quite a
fishery and you will be very impressed on how these big boys take line and
put up more than just a fight!
Itinerary: The class will meet at 8 am at Red's Fly Shop and it
is designed to give you instruction on gear, flies, and presentation
strategies for Carp.
After gearing up, we will drive to the Columbia River which is about 45
minutes from our fly shop and do some on the water instruction on stripping,
casting, and spotting fish. After that, time to fish! We will
spend the remainder of the day fishing for Carp.

- 1 Day Course
$59 per person. (refundable with retail purchase of
$200
or more on regularly priced items on the day of the class!)

Essential Gear
- 7-8 weight rods with floating lines.
- Waders or wet wading gear depending upon weather.
- Carp Flies (available to purchase at the fly shop on the morning of)
- Tippet (a super strong Flo. Carbon tippet material - i.e. FF Plus) Also
available at the shop on the morning of the clinic.
- GOOD sunglasses.
- Lumbar of Fanny Pack (available online at
www.redsflyfishing.com or in the
shop on the morning of)
