How to Fly Fish for Steelhead on the Methow, Klickitat,
Wenatchee, and Grande Ronde Rivers
This One Day Steelhead Clinic is designed to educate the angler on
fishing for Eastern Washington Steelhead. It can be an intimidating
for an angler to take on Steelhead for the first time, or maybe you have
have steelhead fished but it has been a few years. This class is very
well rounded to both beginners and advanced anglers alike. You will be
very impressed on how much information we are willing to give out!
Itinerary: The class will meet at 10 am at Red's Fly Shop and it
is designed to give you instruction on gear, flies, and presentation
strategies for Steelhead. It is hosted on the river at Red's.
After gearing up and being certain that everyone has the gear they need, we
will head down to the river and begin with discussion on Steelhead behavior
and angling strategies. We will look inside the guide's fly boxes and
kit bags to see what the pros use.
