Justin was born and raised in Alaska. From a young age he was on the heals of dad and mom, chasing the unique wildlife of the “The Great Land” from the back of horse. In the early 90’s a move brought Justin to Ellensburg, were he went to middle school and high school, achieving him the distinction of “a local”. The appreciation of all things natural and wild instilled in him as a kid, inspired him to attend Central Washington University where he earned an undergraduate degree in Physical Geography and later, an Master of Science in Natural Resource Management.
