| Mike was born and
raised in Washington State where he began fly fishing at a very
early age. Fortunately for Mike, his whole family loved to fish and
camp so he spent most of summers in Eastern Washington chasing
anything that swam, primarily trout. As soon as he turned
16, you would find him braving the interstate on his way over to the
Yakima River every weekend to get a taste of big western river style
fly fishing. After High School,
Mike worked in the sport fishing industry and has been lucky enough
to do so for the last 9 years. He moved to Ellensburg 2 years ago
and built a big beautiful log home out in the country, and is
currently living out every country boys dream! He and his
longtime girlfriend Jamie plan to start a family someday and he also
plans to be at Red's Fly Shop for a long time. When he is not
guiding the river or in the fly shop, you will usually find him
fishing the Yakima or out scouting for new fishing opportunities.
Mike loves to fish and it would tough to find a more genuinely
passionate angler anywhere in the world. |
