Guided Duck Hunting in Eastern Washington
We are committed to providing the BEST possible experience in duck hunting,
pheasant hunting, chukar hunting, and fly fishing adventures
in the northwest. This is not a commitment we take lightly so when it
comes to duck hunting, this means acquiring the best pieces of property,
hiring the best guides, tireless scouting, honing our calling, building
first class blinds, and all out going the extra mile for our clients every
single day.
Duck and
Goose Hunts in Central Washington
The most popular hunt we do, is duck hunting on the Ellensburg Bull Ponds
property just a couple miles east of Ellensburg. This is only 20
minutes from our
lodge
and is a fabulous wetland. It is a series of ponds that just seems to
have the right mix of cattails, feed, cover, and since it is private....
lack of hunting pressure. We also invest heavily into de-icing
equipment to make it some of the only "open water" once the valley goes into
deep freeze. This is not an inexpensive endeavor but as you may have
guessed... its worth it!
Although the Bull Ponds are our #1 spot, when the migration is on we offer
special hunts to take advantage of unique and changing conditions.
SIGN UP for our duck hunting mailing list! You won't regret it.
We will send out some special offers on the Columbia River, Potholes,
special goose shoots, the Winchester Wasteway, and some places you have
never even heard about!
Dates
Available on the Ellensburg Bull Ponds
Dates on the Bull Ponds are very coveted for several reasons. First,
it is a very high quality hunt on private land in Ellensburg with
spectacular heated blinds. Second, we only hunt it 2 days per week and
never on consecutive days. This keeps the quality of this trip to an
absolute premium.
From mid October - January, general duck season, we give hunters a choice of
either a Tuesday or Wednesday, or a Saturday or Sunday.
- Guided Hunt, $1000 per day
- Up to 4 shooters
- Tuesday or Wednesday, or Saturday or Sunday (we only hunt this 2 days per
week, never consecutive days)
- Non shooting kids and spouses may come free of charge
- Heated Blinds
- Hot Coffee for adults
- Hot Chocolate for kids or upon request
- Snacks

Comfortable Heated Duck Blinds
On the Bull Ponds in Ellensburg, we have beautiful heated duck blinds with
hard floors that feel more like a baseball dugout than a duck blind!
It is a very comfortable environment for kids, women, or new duck hunters.

What duck
hunting gear do I need to bring?
All hunters must furnish their own shotguns and steel shot shells. We
will send out a detailed packing list but hunters will need the basics like
good gloves, warm clothes, appropriate duck hunting licenses and stamps etc.
We sell shooting gloves and some other accessories, please see our
web store.
You don't need waders on the Ellensburg Bull Ponds trip, but it doesn't
hurt. Sometimes we'll do some jump shooting mid-day and you will need
waders for this.
