Lodging and Dining
Dates: March 15th - Sep. 30th
A fantastic group getaway.
Our camp is riverside on Washington State's only Blue Ribbon trout stream, after dinner you can step into the river and wade fish
until the lights go out. Others might want to just relax around the campfire
and enjoy a glass of scotch or some red wine mixed with hearty laughs and
a few jokes told over a game of cards.
This is a true fly fisherman's get away, your evening is filled by
listening to the sweet sound of the Yakima River flowing by and watching the
evening Caddis hatch flicker amongst the lantern light. Don't worry
about spilling your drink on the carpet, or not making it back in time for
dinner. This camp is run by fisherman, for fisherman. If you are
expecting a hot shower, the motels of Ellensburg might be a better option.
But those who don't mind "roughing it" for a night or two, you will enjoy
every breath of clean mountain air and fall asleep to the nocturnal sounds of
the Eastern Washington high desert.
Our lodging consists of 16'x12' Wall Tents with wood burning stoves, cots,
tables, chairs, lanterns, and even a carpet floor! They are on elevated
platforms with cedar decks which is a comfortable setup yet still gives you
that rustic feel of being on a true outdoor adventure.
Restroom
facilities are simple outhouses and there is plenty of water for hand and face
washing.
