Brace Yourselves - Yakima River is Going UP

Ok folks, GREAT fishing yesterday.  We did better on nymphs than streamers, but got our biggest fish on a bugger.  Crystal Flash Bugger  

We caught some great fish including this "big chunky" that was about 19".  It was so fat that we had to post it twice.

If you are coming this way, just consider phoning the shop sometime on Saturday afternoon to check on Sunday.  Most of Saturday should be ok in the Lower Canyon but by evening it will be ugly.  It handles a rise better than other parts of the river.  Above the Teanaway in Cle Elum will likely hold and remain in good shape.
