Yakima River Report // Low Water Tips and Fall Fishing
September 9, 2020
Canyon Road is back open! While the sky is hazy the Evan's Canyon Fire is finished and not producing any smoke. There are some fires further out in Eastern Washington that are sending smoke into the atmosphere so it's a bit hazy. Fishing today was VERY good! Boats are back on the water and fish are feeding on dry flies in the shady areas and hitting nymphs aggressively in the swift water.
Come see us this week and make sure to get a dinner reservation at Canyon River Grill. As it begins to get dark earlier, conisder pairing a great day on the water with a fabulous meal to cap things off!

Joe, We’ve fished together a few times on the Yakima some years ago. We’re staying at the lodge this Tues-Fri. I’d like to fish some myself, but would also like a guided trip on Wednesday if that works. I realize you don’t guide clients as much anymore with your many other responsibilities at RED’s, but if your available, I’d love to fish with you again. Greg
